Scan it. Find it. Keep it yours.
Foliark turns paper into searchable PDFs and files them by itself — entirely on your iPhone. No account. No cloud. No subscription.

- Unlimited free OCR
- Full-text search
- Auto-filing Smart Vault
- Works in airplane mode
- Pay once, no subscription
Everything important is free. Really.
Scanning, unlimited on-device text recognition (OCR), full-text search, automatic filing, encrypted backup, and Face ID app lock — all free, with no ads, no watermarks, and no page limits. Most scanner apps charge a subscription for exactly this; Foliark never will.
Scans like a pro
Point the camera at any paper — edges are detected live and the page is captured automatically, even in tricky light. Crop, rotate, filter, reorder; scan ID cards front and back onto one page.
Every word searchable
Every scan becomes a PDF with an invisible text layer, indexed on-device. Find any document by its content — the amount on an invoice, a name in a letter — with results highlighted on the page.
Files itself
The Smart Vault reads each document on-device and files it by topic, date, sender, person, and type. Confident documents are filed automatically; anything uncertain waits in a visible “To review” inbox — nothing is ever silently misfiled.
Private by architecture
There is no account to create and no server to trust. OCR, search, and filing all run on your iPhone — verify it yourself in airplane mode. The App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected”.
Foliark Pro — one purchase, yours forever
Pro unlocks the power features for a growing library: combine scans into one PDF, protect PDFs with AES-256 passwords, compress PDFs in place, export recognized text as .txt, and run batch actions on many documents at once.
One-time purchase — CHF 10 / $9.99 / €9.99 (launch price) — no subscription, no upsell treadmill.
What Foliark deliberately doesn't do
Foliark has no cloud sync and no web login — your documents live on your device, full stop. If you want a copy elsewhere, create an encrypted backup file and store it wherever you choose. We think that's a feature; if you need multi-device cloud sync today, Foliark may not be for you (yet — see the public roadmap).
Requires an iPhone with iOS 15.5 or later. Interface in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese; text recognition covers Latin-script languages.
